Frequently Asked Questions

At what age can my child begin classes?
Children must be 18 months old to begin gymnastics.

When can a student register for classes?
Registration takes place in May for summer and fall classes and August for fall classes.  However, a student can register at any time during the year if class space is available.

Can we make up classes we miss?
On four designated Saturdays during the year, make-up classes are scheduled.  A list of these Saturdays and class times are posted on the Pro Shop counter and on the calendar page.  Sign-up is required to attend a make-up class.

Can my friend come to class with me just one time?
No, we are sorry but that is not possible.

Do you pro-rate tuition?
Tuition is only pro-rated if you begin classes in the middle of a month or session.

Can I switch classes?
We will be glad to switch you to another class time if conflicts arise, provided there are available openings in your chosen class and it is the same level of ability, adjustments can be made.

Can I watch my gymnast?
An observation window is located by the gym door for viewing.  Distractions from parents and friends are not conducive to learning.  Focusing on activity is necessary for a safe environment and safety is top priority.

Can Mom or Dad go to class with me?
No, grown-ups are requested to stay in the lobby and a staff member will take the student to class.  Classes begin with the instructors organizing their classes in the lobby.  Children are taught how to enter the gym and how to stay together as a group.

Is my child the only one crying?
No, we are used to tears, especially with our preschoolers.  It often takes about 3-4 weeks for a young child to adjust to the new environment.  Please be assured that your child will stop crying.  If, however, a child cannot adjust, the parents will be notified and adjustments will be made in the best interest of the child.

Are registration fees and tuition refundable?
No.  Registration fees reserve a student's place in class and tuition pays for that place.  Remember the Withdrawal Procedure to avoid from being charged.
